Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American performer and actress. She is best remembered for her portrayal of Layla Grant, in Nashville (2012) drama and Claudia Shepard from Sharknado (2013). She also played the title role in the feature film Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. She is the older sister of Ally. While growing up Aubrey was a part of the Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. Her graduation ceremony from Lake Mary Preparatory School was an address to the class' valedictory in 2012. Harvard University had accepted her. However, they agreed to her admission two times in order to allow her to assume the role of Nashville. Peeples was a guest on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally 2011 Grey's Anatomy (2005), and was a regular character on Necessary roughness (1991). The actress appeared on TV as a character in Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 as well as The Good Mother. The latter was her most prominent role as Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama series in its second season. Peeples admitted to bipolar in an interview for 2019 in NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples in September 2014 as one of the nation's top young actors.
